Trading Manager
We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Trading Manager on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Trading.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Negotiation and agreeing purchasing terms and conditions with an agreed list of suppliers.
- Development of agreed partnership agendas with BWG Foods “Preferred Supplier Partners”.
- Managing and developing a specific portfolio of suppliers and brands.
- Achieving budgeted LTA, Sales, Margin and all other forms of income for BWG.
- Managing a portfolio of brands including product range and selection, introducing new brands and delisting existing brands as market conditions demand.
- Maintaining and improving retailer gross margins and ensuring that the retailer price file is reviewed and updated as appropriate.
- Ensuring allocated suppliers are providing efficient and satisfactory levels of support to all retailers.
- Sourcing and agreeing products for retail and wholesale promotions and communication of such information to all relevant departments.
- Supporting business development projects and commercial events as required.
Job requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
