Value Centre Sales Developer (Dublin Region)

 

We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Value Centre Sales Developer (Dublin Region) on a permanent full-time basis. The Sales Developer will support and drive the continued growth of sales across the Leinster region with a primary focus on the Dublin area. This will be achieved by effective identification of key business growth opportunities and maintenance of customer relations, through the delivery of a high standard service.

 

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, key areas of responsibility include:

  • The recruitment and development of new business opportunities

  • The development and growth of an existing customer base

  • To deliver a sustainable mix of profitable sales

  • To ensure local sales promotions and other NPD activity are communicated and appropriately targeted to customers in order to achieve maximum effect and sales success

  • To achieve sales targets through the development of new and existing business

  • To build partnerships through needs based interviewing with existing and potential key customers

  • To maintain effective sales and new account paperwork

  • To work with Value Centre Management in relation to customer service and communications 

  • To achieve targets on debtors as agreed by effective management of debts

  • To carry out other duties as requested by your manager

Job requirements

The successful candidate will be:

  • Have a proven sales track record, preferably within an FMCG licence and Foodservice sector

  • A results-driven achiever, with exemplary planning and organisational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation

  • A seasoned professional whose integrity provides for effective business relationships

  • A confident individual, who is committed to achieving excellence

  • An energetic performer, with an upbeat, positive attitude

  • Possess a full, clean drivers licence
