Driver Rigid – Afternoon Shift

We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Rigid Driver to join our transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers, collecting and dropping off vehicles, and ensuring all journeys are carried out in full compliance with company procedures and national transport guidelines. Accurate record‑keeping and a strong commitment to customer service are essential. The working week is Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Duties Include:

• Deliveries to customers premises.

• Dropping off/Collecting vehicles.

• Records.

• Food Safety.

• Health & Safety.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

 ·        Possess a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

·        Have a valid clean driver’s licence (minimum C licence)

·        Must have a manual driving licence (To be able to drive both automatic and manual vehicles)

·        Have relevant driving experience in Galway and surrounding area

·        Have the ability to work as part of a team

·        Have strong interpersonal skills

·        Be motivated and be able to work on own initiative

·        Have flexibility in terms of routes, tasks, working hours and working days
