Retail Technology Analyst (Temporary)

 

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Technology Project Analyst on a Temporary full-time basis.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

·        Control and management of third-party suppliers and associated service delivery agreements

·        Co-ordinate the support and growth of mission critical IT systems to our retailers, involving a variety of in house and third-party suppliers.

·        Participate in projects throughout the initiation, definition, execution and close out phases of the project

·        Participate in multiple projects in parallel

·        Liaising with senior business managers from different functions to translate their needs into technical requirements.

·        Communicate and implement the business strategies and objectives to the customer

·        Achieve measured completion of projects to the satisfaction of the customer and the business

·        Definition and management of quantitative metrics and Key Performance Indicators

·        Development of operational procedures and system specifications

·        Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation on all aspects of the core procedures and responsibilities

·        Train new members of the team as required

·        Support our helpdesk on customer queries and troubleshooting of same

·        Achieve measured completion of support requests to the satisfaction of the customer and the business

·        Other projects as directed by the manager

·        The role will involve nationwide travel and may include overnight stays

Job requirements

Skills & Experience

·        At least 5+ years of retailer experience, resolution and issue management – in retail sector an advantage.

·        Understanding of System Architectures, Advanced Excel

·        Experience with ePOS in independent retailers and across technologies in a retailer ecosystem

·        Ability to demonstrate a high level of ownership

·        Strong Analytical skills, resolution management, organisational skills and good time keeping

·        Strong communication skills and able to report clearly back with updates to management in good clear manner

·        Demonstrate an ability to work on own initiative, ability to prioritize own workload and work to exacting deadlines

·        Innovative, authoritative, have the ability to communicate on all levels

·        Reach and exceed targets.

·        Flexibility and adaptable in the approach to customer/business needs.

·        Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

·        Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Must have a full clean drivers license

 

Advantageous

·        Knowledge of the FMCG industry

·        Experience within store technologies such as electronic shelf edge labels, digital screens, kiosks.

·        Experience with retailer ordering platforms both B2B and B2C

·        Experience with retailer store processes that can be improved with technology
