SPAR Programme Manager
A Senior Role in the SPAR Team reporting directly to the SPAR Sales Director, the purpose of the SPAR Programme Manager is to work with and support the SPAR Retail Advisory Team to implement key elements of the SPAR business strategy. Working with the Regional Managers and SPAR Retail Operations Advisors (ROA) supporting them developing store specific plans and objectives. The Programme Manager will also play a key role in delivering business improvement projects for SPAR.
Key objectives:
Working with the senior SPAR management team on roll out of key commercial initiatives across the SPAR estate
Lead instore space planning initiatives to maximise the range, innovation and sales of all projects undertaken
Support Regional Managers and Retail Operation Advisors to maximise the sales and profitability in refits and new stores as they happen
Support Regional Managers and Retail Operation Advisors in maximising sales & profitability on all projects undertaken
Effective and time reporting on all initiatives and specific KPI’s
Deliver professional presentations and updates both internally and at SPAR customer facing events regularly as required
Identify and report on business opportunities and threats as required
Work with the SPAR team to identify growth areas and target new locations for SPAR store recruitment nationally
Develop strong customer relationships with a specific focus on multi-site / group retailers
Identify opportunities in multisite/group retailer to grow sales and profitability
Supporting the Retail Advisory Team and to deliver best in class operational advice to retailers.
Support Retail Advisory Team and SPAR Retailers to implement best practice in store and back-office procedures to maximise sales and retailer profitability.
Available to take the lead on specific projects as required.
Represent company at events / functions as required.
Participate in cross-functional teams, as requested. Provide information to the company on local market activities.
Positively project the company and the benefits of partnership at all times.
