Junior Data Analyst

Junior Data Analyst- Permanent Full-Time

BWG Foods is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent data science graduate to begin a career in data analytics within a dynamic retail environment. You’ll be supported by experienced analysts and will contribute to data-driven decision-making across the business.     

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data from various sources including EPOS systems.

·        Support the analysis of retail trends and performance metrics.

·        Help create visual dashboards and reports using tools like Excel and Power BI.

·        Participate in team meetings and contribute to data presentations for internal stakeholders.

·        Maintain accurate records and documentation of data processes.

·        Learn and apply data validation and cleansing techniques.

·        Collaborate with team members and third-party vendors on data-related projects.

·        Monitor data quality and flag inconsistencies or gaps.

Experience & Education:

• Analytical and interpretive skills

• Highly organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail

• Strong mathematical ability

• Detailed knowledge of data analysis and relational database software to include Microsoft SQL, Diver BI, R studio and Excel

• Excellent communication skills

• Team player
